0. day - 23/07/2015 - , PrologueThis year, a total of 45 ships participates in the Sail Indonesia Rally, including us. This rally is supported by the Indonesian Government. The rally has the following route in 2015: Darwin, Kupang, Alor, Wakatobi, Buton, Bau Bau, bomb, Takabonerate (Selayar), Lombok (Medana Bay Marina), Bali (Lovina), Karimunjawa, Kumai, Manggar, Belitung, Bangka Tengah Batam.
The sailors decide themselves whether or not to follow the route.
Indonesia has more than 17 000 islands, among them some of the majors are Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, Kalimantan. Its population is over 210 million with more than 300 different tribal nations and 375 languages. There is strong volcanic activity with around 150 volcanos and the variety of flora and fauna is amazing. |
